 Chapter 8 was about the incline of the Washington economy and what industries got it started off.  Those Industries were agriculture, fishing mining and the timber industry. The most sucssful was probably the fishing considering all the ocean water and river we have.

Week of 5/3/10

This week was interesting because of the MSP. Monday was a normal day and in math was are last 2 lessons a day. Tuesday was almost normal because  our 5th and 2nd periods were swithched. Wednesday was pretty normal and Thursday was chaotic. We had really no normal classes because we had the MSP the whole day and we had to rotate on the computers.

I liked chapter five because this was the first major buisness company for the pacific northwest. I don’t know why but i just like how the buisness company works and more modern history.

Washington Ch. 1

My favorite thing that we’ve done so far in the washington history unit is that the video of the giant flood. I liked this video because of all the animations, on most videos like that there won’t be any animation so you don’t have a base image on what information they’re giving you. My favorite thing i learned so far is about the scablands because i didn’t even know they existed!

Crusades Reasearch

I think overall i did pretty well on my crusade wiki spaces project. I think i did pretty well on gathering my information on the reasearch what i mean by that is that is that i found information i needed and it didn’t take too long. I think i could’ve not rushed my project as much and it might of turned out a bit better by better i mean neater and maybe a bit more legnthy. What i didn’ t like about this project is that people were attacking christians for the crusades that they had. I don’t think it’s right that they can do that. Another issue i had with the project is i wasn’t here on tuesday so i don’t know how to cite the websites that i used. I only used one website though.

Islam Poster

I think i did pretty well on my poster because i got all the necesarry information in the topic. I did odds so 9.3, 9.5, 9.7, and 9.9. As i was saying i got all the requirements, and a little bit more. I liked dabbleboard because it let us think a bit more without being as stressed. I learned that the 5 pillars if Islam weren’t just a religion but it was a way of life to be followed. I also learned that the muskim calender is only 1 moon cycle long. I learned that the muslims go a whole day without eating and its called fasting.

Islamic faith like a life that never ends beacause the sun will never set on the islam empire. I mean that there is Islam believers all over the world.

Muhammad Book

I think i did pretty well on my muhammad book. i had a couple things i need to work on. My cover probably could’ve been neater. I think my core sections were pretty nicely done. Also i think my extra credit was ok. a bit rushed though.
